Requirements of Online Gaming License
To determine whether a candidate is eligible to obtain a state gambling license, staff members look into their history. When assessing eligibility, a range of factors are taken into account, including the applicant's honesty, & criminal and financial history. Each applicant & spouse who holds a community property interest in a gambling facility must submit a completed state gaming license application to the Commission together with a non refundable application fee. Each applicant and spouse who has a community property interest in the gambling establishment is required by the Business and Professions Code Section to complete and submit the applicable supplemental background information package and to make a deposit in an amount that the Chief of the Bureau deems adequate to cover the anticipated costs of the investigation and processing.
